If I add something new I wait at least 36 hours before I add anything else new and I don't add something new if I have any stress or big plans that I don't want to have ruined. Hope that answers your question.

Hi,

I continue to eat exactly the same and then only eat one new item each week - so leaving 7 days between new foods. This is just becasue i can't afford the time off work if something makes me sick during the week so try new foods at the weekend - This is just what works for me though.

Bear in mind though that you may need to try the new food in small quantities more than once - this is becasue you may have a bad reaction the first time which could actually be due to other factors such as hormones or stress and you might really be fine with the new food.

Good luck and be brave

How do you pinpoint a problem food when it could be such a delayed response? Like maybe even 2 days? How do you know which food you ate in the past 2 or more days that was actually the problem??

If you introduce only 1 new food at a time with a time span of a week then you will be able to know if you agree with the new foods.

Eat only safe foods to you and add 1 new food a week. Say eat it on Monday and/or Tuesday. By next Monday or Tuesday if you have had no problems than you know it to be safe.
