Started on Benefibre and it is just 100% soluble fibre wheat dextrin and my tummy this morning is KILLING me and I have wind and bloating really really really bad.

I can't understand it. Also it made me feel like I was choking or something but it was well dissolved.
Is this normal?

If you are experiencing choking then this is not normal for any SF. If it continues or gets worse then stop taking it and talk to your GP.

Fiber supplements contain different types of soluble fibers. Wheat dextrin is the SF in Benefiber and inulin in FiberSure. Your reaction to a particular SF can be different than others. However, in most cases you have to start with a small dose and slowly increase it. Introducing new fiber into your diet can be accompanied by some bloating and gas for a few days.
