I (used to) chew gum quite regularly and am already missing it Is there any safe gum or mints that won't aggravate IBS?

i was actually just thinking about this last night... I used to chew gum all of the time and need SOMETHING to chew.. with fructose malabsorption I don't know if there is anything that is safe.. all of the sugar free gums would be out..

I chew Super Bubble original flavor, but only 1-2 pieces at a time, and not on a totally empty stomach. It is fine for me. If I chew too much, though, (like more than 4-6 pieces in a day... yes I'm addicted...) my tummy is a little unsettled.

I used to chew tobacco ... then gum. Now I chew (suck on) cinnamon flavored toothpicks. Seems to work for me.
