Has anyone had an adverse affect to the bengal spice herbal tea? After I drank a cup, my stomach started to cramp and my colon spasmed. It did not last more than about 10 minutes, but it happened none the less. Ingredients: cinnamon, chicory, carbo, giner, cardamom, black pepper, cloves and nutmeg.

I almost posted about this tea last week because one of the girls I work with brought a box in to share and I was scared to try it. I did drink 1 cup and was ok with it. But on the safer side, I just stick with my Peppermint!

This never triggers me, but it does bug a little sometimes.
Had the same issue even before IBS. I only drink it now and then.

I sometimes have reactions to teas with a lot of spices in them. Usually it tends to stimulate my digestive tract, which can be uncomfortable.
