My dh has been adjusting his diet and is doing pretty good at getting rid of unneeded things.

He finally gave up coffee. been sober since November.

Anyhow.

He is really bothered about his weight lately. He thought he was losing, but the last month things have been a bit snug. So he asked what else he could cut out.

I mentioned that I often hear of the GI levels. That there are good carbs and bad carbs. (he then said something about trying the Atkins diet again to which I quickly told him NO)

So I am wondering if any knows how the Glycemic index works with a IBS diet.

You might find this web site on the Glycemic Index and a database of the glycemic index for a variety of carbs of interest.
