Hi
I was doing fine for the past few days no gas no bloated feeling no pain in left stomach area, however at lunch i cheated and ate a few french fries, and later i tasted my grandaughter's choch milk and now the gas is back along with the pain or ache in my left side. What do you make of this, you wouldn't think just a little would do any harm.

NOT to sound rude..... but....what does fiber have to do with you eating greasy french fries and dairy in your choc milk? THOSE would be your culprits to your gas & bloating...

Before you stabilize, even one bite of a trigger food can cause an attack. It takes a long time to get to the point where you can cheat a bit, and some people never get there. But giving up a few of those tasty foods is well worth not being in pain. And there are lots of fantastic alternatives out there. Blue Diamond makes an almond chocolate milk that I think tastes better than dairy choc. milk. And there are a few brands of frozen french fries I have found that I can tolerate when they are baked. Since everyone is different, you have to find the ones that work for you.

You can try Bean-O and/or fennel tea for the gas/bloating.
