get back pains when they are constipated or with wind ? - the pain feels like either someones inside me pressing on my back and higher stomach both at same or simular !! i knwo im prob just worrying cause of my anxiety and panick attacks but is this normal i havent been for a BM for well this is three days untill about an hour ago and it wasa struggle - the back pain eased a bit but is now back again - i have taken a hot shower but still have it - is this normal - i do still feel that im a bit clogged up maybe ?
Im off to see my new dietician in a moment also so i shall report back with what she has said !!

Yes, I have back pain and so does my husband when we are backed up. What are you taking for your constipation? I found that the acacia fiber and magnesium tablets as well as diet (following Heathers suggestions) helped and I now go daily, I was really bad! Good luck!

I almost posted this same question a few days ago!! I'm IBS-D and also suffer from major bloating and gas. I had such terrible back pain earlier this week for 2 days and then yesterday it "traveled" to my rib cage: MISERABLE!!!! Nothing seems to help either...

Hi thanks for your replies im glad im not on my own with this - earlier on it felt like i had been kicked in the back it was that bad !! but it seems ot be waring off a little !

definitely. i see my chiropractor every other week. it helps a lot. i believe some of my low back pain is from constant distended bloated gut (i look about 4 months pregnant all the time). the rest of me is tiny, 5'2" 110 pounds. yet, i have an enoromous gut! most definitely affects the back!
