I'm on my 4th day of the 1st & only yeast infection I've ever had in my life (I'm 62) and I'm miserable, to say the least. The candida overgrowth can really get to an IBS-er, especially if their immune system is down, and I think mine was. I try so hard to stay on track and then BOOM!-- something like this hits me hard! I have to go back to work tonite and I'm dreading it. Guess I'll just keep taking my meds and hope for the best. I'm going to invest in some acidophilus pills and some Vitamin B-12 too. Maybe they will help.

The best advice I can give you is to get a god zinc supplement, take acidophilus(you should be taking a probiotic every day anyway with IBS) and cut out any sugary and yeasty foods.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day also.
Good luck and God Bless. I know you must be miserable. Hang in there…
