What is it that we can't have in eggs? Is it purely the fat content of a yolk? Can YOU tolerate egg yolks at all?

I have no troubles with liquid eggs: yolks and whites. In Canada there is a product called Naturegg. They are cholesterol and fat free. I use the version that is supplemented with Omega 3. Three tbsp equals a medium size egg. Perhaps there is a similar product in Australia.

It's the fat content plus sulphur-containing proteins ( = more gas and smellier too).

I'm ok with eggs as long as I don't eat too many and the rest of the meal is low fat/fat free.

I can tolerate egg yolks, I just avoid them in order to keep the fat content of things lower. One egg yolk has 5 grams of fat so they can add up pretty quick!
-------------------- IBS-A since age 12, and fructose sensitive; with the exception of my pregnancy, have been following Heather's diet since Nov. 19, 2007.
Taking 12g of Acacia per day. Relatively stable since March 2008!
