I read ingredients in some mayos and it doesn't show any milk. I haven't been eating mayo for a long time now and just wondering if anyone thinks it's safe to eat. If it's dairy free and low fat?

Thanks.

I eat the low-fat Miracle Whip. It's fine - no dairy in the ingredients, and while there is whole egg, it's still low fat. I don't even use the full serving suggestion (which I think is a tablespoon?) anyway, making even lower in fat! I imagine it would be the same with low-fat mayo.

The problem is that most Ukrainian salads are made with mayo. If I can't eat mayo then I miss out on most of my native cooking. I tried some mayo last night and feel ok. I am trying some more today. Hopefully I can tolerate it and if I can than I am a happy woman. Thanks, ladies.

I use Smart Beat mayonnaise. Only 10 calories and no diary at all except for egg whites which is safe.
