I saw in the "snacks" link at the top of this board that Chocolate Raspberry and Apple cinnamon Zone bars are safe snacks. But they contain milk ingredients – how can they still be safe?

Taking 12g of Acacia per day. Relatively stable since March 2008!

Hi there,

That is a puzzler to me because usually those ones listed should be 100% safe, but I've never had those bars and don't know much about them so can't be sure myself..
My guess would be that maybe the milk ingredients in the bars are a fairly nominal amount and haven't caused whoever suggested them any problems. Quite a few people are okay with small amounts of milk products, but that's not to say that a stabilizing tummy should assume this won't bother them.
If you aren't sure, I'd avoid them. There are other bars that don't have any milk ingredients (Luna bars, for example) I would try instead.

Cheers,
Steph
