I don't want to say that this is the cure-all, but for the last few months, since I had to take antibiotics and began taking a really powerful probiotic, my digestion has been fantastic! I have not had a loose BM in a month and a half, and I have had a lot less stomach aches... The product is "Ultimate Flora, Critical Care" by Renew Life.. here is the link: http://www.renewlife.com/Probiotics/CriticalCare.aspx
It's about $35 for a bottle, which lasts for a month... in any case, has anyone tried it? And if anyone tries it, please keep me updated as to whether or not it helps you!

First of all I paid $20 for it, so that was a plus. And the owner told me I didnt need the critical care one to try the Adult formula first and see how that agree's with me. So when do you take this? I am going to start this tommorow and Arcadia. So I hope it works.

Well I think the reason it works so well for me IS because it's critical care, and extremely powerful... I probably don't "need" it, but honestly, I have taken all other kinds of probiotics and they never worked like this one!! So try out the other one first and if it doesn't work, try this one. I take it in the morning on an empty stomach, before breakfast.

Okay great now I am wondering if I should go back and exchange it tommorow for the other one "critical care" that you take since you had such great results??? I just left it in the fridge at work. What do ya think?

Well if you can afford it I would try it... what I was told by the man at the health food store I went to is, "This one is top of the line, and if you can afford it, buy it." It is quite expensive, but since it worked so well for me, I think it's worth it! However, I really love that brand, so I'm sure all of their products are good. That one is just super powerful.

Thank you for your help. First, I will try this one. And if its not enough I will try the more powerful one. Money isnt the issue, I am more concerned about wasting MORE money.

Hi there... Sorry it's taken me a little bit to reply...
I have written this on here before, but basically I don't follow her diet to a T. I do what works for me and I follow the general rules.
Basically I don't eat any fried foods, anything greasy, not too many fruits/raw foods, not too much meat/chicken, not too many nuts. Mainly I eat sourdough toast, avocados, oatmeal, cheese (it doesn't bother me), steamed veggies, eggs (I eat the yoke and it's fine for me), fish, rice (brown and white), a little bit of chicken, popcorn, pretzels, brown rice crackers, Luna Bar Tea Cakes, rice dream ice cream, fruit juice sweetened pies... I could probably think of more, but that's the gist of my diet.
A few years back I got really obsessed with IBS and trying to "cure" it. It made me crazy and it actually made me feel a lot worse. Once I found what generally works for me, stopped obsessing, found a good probiotic and found that charcoal caps work REALLY well for me, my digestion is pretty pleasant most of the time. It gets disturbed if I eat too much, eat at a resturant that's not one of the few that agree with me, don't sleep enough or am under stress... surprisingly those few things haven't happened much lately and my digestion has been at it's best the last few months... I posted this thread because it truly has gotten much better since adding the probiotics... So there you go
