I haven't but I was considering acupuncture myself. I would also love to hear everyone's experience!

I tried both - twice - it didn't make any difference for me.

I'm actually meeting with a Holistic dr on Friday to discuss some of these alternatives. I'll let you know how it goes.

I actually started seeing an Acupuncturist about 3 weeks ago for other issues I am having. I went for headaches and nausea from the chemotherapy I am going through. When she did my health history I mentioned my IBS-C and she said she could probably help with that as well. So far since I went that first time I have had a bm every day. My headaches are getting better too but it was worth it to go to her just for my IBS to stop being a problem right now. I am still going to her because of my results, my bloating is also much better as well. I have not taken any herbs though as my cancer doctor's don't want me on anything but what they are giving me.

Hey - thats really encouraging. I'm glad it has helped you ease the symptoms from the chemo. My heart goes out to you, I can't imagine how you must be coping. I'm on herbs too, but the diarrhea has been every morning for the last (nearly) 3 weeks and I'm losing weight, it's pretty horrid, I'm having my second acupuncture today, I hope things start to change.

I tried accupuncture once and didn't experience immediate relief, so I didn't follow-up. I'm impatient, and for $75, I want instant results.

Check into Emotional Freedom Technique (EMT). It's simple to learn and you can do it in your own home, on your own time. And, it's free. Go to emofree.com for more info. I've used it successfully to combat quasi anxiety attacks.

It's based on accupressure.
