Dairy v. Caffeine in Chocolate

According to Heather's diet both caffeine and milk are considered triggers. Basically there are two kinds of chocolate: milk and dark. Milk chocolate contains the obvious trigger milk but dark chocolate has a higher caffeine content (yes I do realize that not all dark chocolate is dairy free but since it is possible to find DF dark chocolate I just assume all of us buy it, I have yet to find DF milk chocolate  ). Which makes me wonder, as both dairy and caffeine are triggers, which one is a bigger trigger?
For comparison (source):
1 oz milk chocolate - 6mg of caffeine
1 oz dark chocolate - 20mg of caffeine
8 oz drip coffee - 85mg of caffeine
12 oz coca-cola - 34mg of caffeine
So that means that a 1.55 dark chocolate bar (size of a regular Hershey bar) contains 31mg of caffeine which is almost the equivalent to a can of Coke. And that's not that much chocolate - I mean, who can't eat a Hershey bar in one sitting? I actually just did (yes, I fell off the wagon but that's why I did this little exercise to help me hop back). I thought I was actually doing my body a favor by choosing the DF dark chocolate but now after my calculation I'm not so sure about it.
Anyway, back to my original question - if you were to eat chocolate which one is the "lesser evil" for you - the milky one or the caffeine loaded one? I actually think it's milk chocolate for me, despite the dairy content.
