Pages: 1 Rash from beano       #315776 - 09/30/07 01:29 PM Edit Reply Quote TATYANA Reged: 07/22/07 Posts: 370 Loc: Washington, Seattle I've been getting a facial rash for the last year since I got IBS and I couldn't figure out why I got it. For the last week or so I've been taking more Beano than usual and this morning I realized that my forehead is covered in hundreds of little red bumps that look like rash. I looked up Beano on the net and read that rash was reported in some cases as a side effect from Beano. I guess I'm stoping using it now. Darn it, I took 3 this morning! I don't know what I will do without it now, since it seemed to be helping me for the last couple of days. I started drinking ginger tea so hopefully that helps. -------------------- IBS-C since 2006. No signs of IBS now, it's been 4 yrs. Only dairy allergy now. Evidently you're alergic to one of the ingredients. A really good substitute is GasStop by Renew Life Formulas, www.renewlife.com - I bought it on the web. I stopped using it because it's not vegan....now I know why I was so itchy all time when I was taking it. I am deadly allergic to penicillin! Once I broke out in hives for a month where I was swallen 3 times my size and was scared for a year with dark spots all over my body. Since then I am allergic to almost every kind of lotion or scent. I will never use beano again! -------------------- IBS-C since 2006. No signs of IBS now, it's been 4 yrs. Only dairy allergy now.
