Hello. I'm going to be flying on Monday. The flight is about 5 hours and was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions of what to bring for lunch and snacks that do not have to be refrigerated and can easily be packed to take on board. Also, I am IBS-C, so as much IF, the better. I was thinking of a salad of some sort, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any good sandwich suggestions that won't go bad if there is no refrigeration and other snacks?

I know you reposted and now I cant find that one. Hopefully you'll read this in time. I only thought of a few things...juice boxes-only 100 precent juice, soy pudding, slice quick bread, dry cereal, fruit rollups/leathers- only ones with no HFCS; go organic, muffins & cupcakes, cookies, cherry tomatoes, cucumber/zuchinni.

Of course most of these things will need to be made at home so that they will be safe for you to eat. And of course don't eat any of my suggestions if you can't handle them.

Luna Bars, small jars of baby food fruit, pretzels, applesauce cups (they may be too many ounces, though), dry cereal...
