Hi. I haven't posted for about 2 years, not because i'm cured but because Im too lazy. I was wondering under what category foods such as humus and tehina fall (soluble insoluble, trigger) and what about cranberry juice? Is that safe? I drink it as an aid to bladder infections.

Unfortunately in this part of the world the foods, medications and special tummy preparations that you all enjoy are unavailable. Shipping stuff is very expensive. So I battle with my diet. Any suggestions welcome.

Humus is made from chick peas which are high in fiber (5%) particularly IF (about 3.5%). Tahini is ground sesame seeds and it is high in fats (60%). I eat small amounts of humus and tahini (a couple of tbsp) with a considerable amount of SF such as pita bread.

Pure cranberry juice is safe. However, in the US and Canada cranberry juice frequently contains HFCS. I know don't if cranberry juice in Italy contains HFCS. You will have to check the label.
