cooking with soymilk

I tried to make instant banana pudding with soy milk but it didn't set. any idea's on how to make it set? Can I use soy milk in sauces, will it thicken? Thanks for any help.

I had the same problem with instant white chocolate pudding. However I have used soy milk in other sauces and it worked... So people can wrote about using rice milk with pudding and having success.

I have done that too. It does not work. Maybe using dream whip in it too would help. But cooked pudding does just fine with soy milk.

I have made pudding successfully with almond milk.
Recipe: 1 1/2 cups almond milk (I use unsweetened and add stevia) 2 tbsp cornstarch Flavoring (vanilla extract, cocoa powder, etc)
Mix and heat over the stove until it boils. Pour into cups and stick in the fridge. That's it!
