questions about Bio K+

Can Bio K+ cause constipation? Both days that I've drank it, (1/2 a bottle) I didn't have a BM. I felt okay, it ended the D. I was having for several days. If I continue to use the Bio K+ will I need to add more IF? or does it just take alittle time to adjust to it? This is my first time with this product. I don't want to go from D. to C. and back again. Any advice from Bio K+ users would be great. Shannon

Did you gradually increase your dose to 1/2 a bottle of did you start with that dose? Starting at too high a dose can cause undesired side effects. For some it might be too much gas and pain, others maybe D, and quite likely it may cause C for some people I would think.

I started at 1/2 a bottle, that's what the directions said, of course I should have came here first and asked what is a better dose for IBS. I'll drink less and see what happens. So far I haven't notice any serious side effects, I don't normaly worry about no BM's till the third or fourth day, and I had a BM today (third day). thanks for the info, I'll use less and work my way up.
