Hi, I am having a really strange IBS problem today that I've never experienced before, and I'm hoping it has something to do with something I've eaten, because I don't ever want this to happen again!
I was having a normal BM, everything passed through normally, but when I got up I noticed small, orange blobs in the toilet. They looked like fat from food that you see in water when you are trying to clean something off a pan. Because of their look, I'm assuming that they are little droplets of fat.
Anyway, I was really freaked out after seeing this, and later my stomach started rumbling. This time, the BM was really gassy and "fizzy," and it felt like I was leaking. The toilet was full of the little orange spots again.
Has anyone every experienced this? Am I sick with something else other than IBS? How do I avoid this?
I'm thinking it might be food related because it looks like little bubbles of fat, and also, I decided to go a little crazy today because I have no immediate commitments so I've been eating a lot of junk food and I even had Chinese food.

Update....
It's getting worse... I'm starting to need to go to the bathroom more often today, and the orange globules are starting to freak me out. Whenever I have to pass gas, I'm afraid they're going to come out.
Ick.

Dunno, but I would definitely go back to some good soluble fibre and some hot peppermint tea. I have that problem sometimes when I've eaten something with too much fat.
