dandelion root

dandelion root is useful for many things, I was wondering if anyone has taken it, how's it affect ibs-c? i used to take bc pills for acne and dandelion root said it helps acne, i wanna try it but my sytem is touchy..here's a link to read about it, it says something about helping bloating too. http://www.femhealth.com/DandelionRoot.html

If your system is touchy, I'd be careful. Dandelion was used in the old days as "bitters" to stimulate the liver.

I'm not sure how to answer this question. I was mainly responding to your comment about having a "touchy" system. You seem to have done some reading about dandelion already, so it seems like you'd be aware of the "bitters" effect on the liver and gall bladder. I'm not sure how much more I can offer beyond that. If you decide to try it, I hope you'll post your experience... good luck!
