Does anyone know of a protein or power bar that is not made of milk. I used to eat Luna Bars but they are Hard on my stomach. I have tried Kashi and they are easier to digest but they are still made wiht some milk products. Anyone have any sugestions

Luna Bars are the only ones I've found so far that don't contain dairy.

There are safe cereal bars but no other protein bars that are widely sold. I had one at the hospital once that was safe except for higher fat than I want. The cereal bars I eat are Nature's Choice. They are filling but not energy bars.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Thanks... I used to eat Luna Bars all the time, I think I might give them a shot again!

Thank you!

I love Lara Bars. While they are not conventionally "protein bars," they contain fruit, nuts, and spices. I think they help my constipation. The nuts are a good source of protein. They are completely raw without any additives, dairy, soy, and they are kosher. My favorites are the apple pie and pecan pie flavors.

I second that. I love them, too. I can't eat Luna bars so I tried these. My fav is cherry.

I have a friend with gluten intolerance and these are the safest bars she can find. She loves them! To me, they look like they have too much IF (raisins, dates, nuts, apples, etc) to eat alone.

Do you find these in a health food store or can you buy them in a regular chain supermarket. I have had a hard time getting enough protein, I tried powder additives but it didn't seem to agree with me.

If you go on Larabar.com, you can look up your zip code and it will tell you the retail stores in your area. You can also order them online. It does look like they sell them at a health food or organic stores
