Yes, both are higher in sugar and carbs. I haven't seen any fat free versions, but it doesn't means they don't have it. I don't have the milk everyday, and i don't have large portions so the higher sugar and carbs haven't been much of an issue for me.

My absolute favorite is the almond milk. Also for a nice treat, the chocolate is sooo yummy!

I haven't tried the rice milk yet, but almond has a great texture for cereal. I had the vanilla flavored kind and I didn't really notice any flavor other than the cereal. Good luck!

I personally drink soymilk everyday and I'm IBS-C and I find it helps reduce that crampy feeling in your stomach first thing in the morning. Although, I limit myself to only 4 oz of soymilk everyday. I find soymilk as a great replacement for milk. Rice milk makes me more C.

Maybe I'll try it again. It was my first day on the diet so it could be any number of things. I've fallen in love with almond milk, but I have some soy yogurt and other products (is there anything they haven't tried to make out of soy??)

Thank you for all of your advice in regards to the milk. Last night I spilled out the lactaid milk and bought my very first soy milk. I deided to start small an bouugh just plain, or original flaver. I used it in my cereal this morning, so hopefully now without the dairy I can continue to get better.
