I just read on this newsletter that some one was eating yoghurt and they had problems with it.It is funny that I read that and the article about IBS people shouldn't eat yoghurt because I was just going to post a comment about how my husband's IBS has been so much better since he's been eating yoghurt. My husband has had IBS since he was young and has been lactose intolerant. He recently started eating yoghurt because he saw it in our fridge and just felt like eating it. He had no problem with it so he started eating it every day and his IBS has been so much better. He hasn't had an attack in about 2 months since eating yoghurt twice a day. He started with low fat fruit flavored yoplait but since I try to buy products without high frutose corn syrup, I found Mountain High fat free plain yoghurt which has live active and probiotic cultures and no gluten. He eats 1 cup twice daily. He adds alittle jam (made in France that does not have high fructose corn syrup) for taste. He also hasn't had to take the peppermint pills. So I don't know why it helps him but it really has.

I love dairy so I'm always happy to see that someone can tolerate it. What type of IBS does your husband have?
