For those who eat quinoa flakes, how do you prepare it? I was looking for something like instant oatmeal and I found quinoa flakes and bought those. I'm not looking to replace oatmeal, just some days I feel like having it twice and it might be a good idea to have something different.

Can I prepare quinoa flakes with almond milk & berries like I do with oatmeal?

Thanks,

I usually microwave them and use water. I actually don't like hot cereal with milk, but I think you could prepare them with fake milk/fruit. For one serving, I use 1 c. of water and 1/3 cup of quinoa flakes. I zap them for 2-2.5 minutes, keeping a close eye on them. Letting them sit and cool for a few minutes helps to thicken them.

They're my favourite cereal.
