Well, perhapes in increase in such things as Benefiber, and increase in water intake and an increase in exercise. Furthermore, maybe a visit to a local doctor to discuss it..what do you think. Maybe we can figure something out.

I JUST found out about this when I called to refill my prescription. I only have two pills left! I called my doctor, and they said to set up an appointment to discuss some options. The earliest appointment I could get was Friday morning. I guess this week will be a real test as to whether or not Zelnorm was really working for me, huh? I already plan to hold one pill for Thursday. I'll be doing stuff at church, and they'll be providing pizza for dinner. As for my other pill.....who knows? I'm so nervous now!

We all have to relax the best we can, though. We all know what nerves can do for our condition! We'll just lean on each other, and try to be calm.

I, personaly, cannot tolerate Soluble Fiber Supplements....so that option is out for me.

Miralax will have to do, I guess.

Do not eat the pizza. Take something for yourself. Eat solutble fibers and take suuplements if you can. I don't think taking out zelnorm will be too bad, but talk with your doc, and let us know.

I actually don't really have a problem with pizza, as long as I take a Lactaid before I eat it. I might still bring something anyway. I'll see how I feel leading up to that day.

I am doing well and am stable! The increased exercise and sf supplements are good. What are you doing?

What are both of you doing to substitute for the Zelnorm? I'm having problems.

Time, you increased the amount of SF supplement you take? Which one are you taking? Have you made any more changes?

I take two tablets of Benefiber in the morning and three at night. I walk a lot during the day (my classes are about 20 minutes away from eachother) and I exercise everyother day. I try to get to sleep by 11 or 12 and up at 7. Furthermore, I drink at least 16 ounces of water a day and at least two cups of peppermint tea. So, let me know if you need answers to any specific questions.

Wow! That's great Time! Hang in there Jordy!

My doctor gave me Amitiza, which is what I figured he'd do. I'm OK, for the most part. I had some diarrhea at first and was a little dizzy and nauseous, which are some of the side effects. The dizziness and nausea were only after the fist dose. The diarrhea was a little longer. I actually haven't gone yet today, but my cycle had been doing that on the Zelnorm. I've been taking the Acacia Fiber for a while. I'm going to increase that a little, and try to exercise more. I'll let yas know how I do!
