I was searching the web for info on these serotonin antagonist drugs and it says here

that
"It is reported that a 5-HT3 antagonist is effective only in female patients with diarrhea-predominant IBS."

is this right?

Some doctors will try them on men and its up to the doctor you see and your medical history. Most of the research is done on women however and there are issues being address between men and women and IBS.
