I need to ask a question
ok sometimes when i eat something like BBQ sauce or stuff with vinegar and I have an eppisode then when the poo comes out it burns and sometimes looks foamy or acidic like...Im sorry I had to ask...its not really a new symptom just never think to ask unless its going on and it is today...and I was wondering if using heather's Tummy fiber, will that help things not bother me as much

Gretchen, I have the same thing if I eat vinegar (and tomatoes, too). In my experience, I've found that no amount of fiber is going to "fix it" if I eat these foods, even in small amounts.

First of all, no BM descriptions should ever be considered gross on these message boards. We are all going through or have gone through tough episodes with BMs. As far as your description, I have been told it is due to the high acidity level. It is very common for older babies and toddlers to have similar BMs and even break out in a rash after eating barbecue sauce or tomato sauce. Their systems are sensitive and certainly, IBS sufferers are sensitive, too.

I started taking pepcid again, because I have alot of heartburn too so maybe it will help with that
