I just purchased a book called "Quick-Fix Vegetarian" by Robin Robertson. It has recipes you can make in 30 minutes or less. No dairy or egg! The meals look safe to eat for IBS-ers (and yummy!). It was just published, so check your local bookstores!
Coming in May is a book called "The Probiotics Revolution" by Gary Huffnagle. It talks about breakthrough discoveries to fight IBS (and other disorders) using probiotic and prebiotic foods and supplements. I just got a reader's copy (I'm a book buyer) and it looks interesting.

I did find this on Amazon, but I prefer to be able to flip through a recipe book before I buy it. Couldn't do that on Amazon.... Will have to look for it at a bookstore. But I also came across "Vegan with a Vengeance". Anyone have this cook book?? I need more quick vegetarian/vegan recipes!!

I have the book "Vegan with a Vengence." Honsestly, I'm not especially impressed. My all-time favourite vegan/vegetarian cookbooks are the "Moosewood" cookbooks. I tend to use these the most. They are easily adaptable for IBS-friendliness, as well.

Hmmm... this one does look promising! I will look into the Moosewood ones, too. But the less substitution I have to do, the better. Thanks for the suggestions!! I really LOVE my Vegan cookbooks (How it all Vegan, Garden of Vegan, La Dolce Vegan), but I've been wanting to try something new lately.

Another vegan cookbook I like is "Vegetarian Meals for People on the Go" by Vimala Rodgers. She has a great recipe for sweet potato pie that's delicious!!! I ended up cooking more sweet potatoes than called for in the recipe, which worked out good. She also has an easy recipe for Spelt bread that I want to try. And the photographs will make your mouth water!
