gastirits diet help me please!!!!

I have been suffereing with gastirits for about 6 months now. I was put on gastirc emptying meds as well as pariet and my refulx is not coming down at all. My stomach hurts.
I was told that if I can't get it down, because I'm on double the dose, if I can't get down to 2 pills, I'd have to have a scope and a specialist.
I'm doing what I am supposed to, eat a regular times, littles bits at a time.
My stomach was good, until I had tried shark liver oil pills to build my immune system.
What can I take for the reflux to bring it down and the gastris???

I'm sorry I don't have much to offer. But I saw that no one responded to your post so I wanted to reach out to you. It sounds like you are feeling awful. I have gastritis too but I've never heard of the med you're talking about. I was given Nexium for it. Mine was not in the esophagus like heartburn...it was more in my upper stomach where you feel nauseaous. Does your diet matter? Of course acidic foods can aggravate it, plus I noticed that if I ate too much or didn't eat at all, I would feel worse. Try to eat small meals and keep your belly full. Hope that helps. Maybe someone else knows about the stuff you've been taking. Feel better.

U can try the following:

Never have peppermint , fennel, chamomile , tea , coffea, chocolate, tomato , spicy food, lemon, any berries , bread etc.

Have lot of buttermilk, yogurt, have the non fat/ low fat plain yogurt only.

Have chewing gum

Try Tums

I tried zantac and my gastritis was gone. But sometimes it keeps coming back. It you maintain ur diet it should be fine.
