Digestive enzymes question

Do you take them before every meal? I take one before dinner, along with a probiotic. But I don't have them with me during the day, so I neglect to take them at other times.

I take them almost anytime I'm eating lunch or dinner. I usually don't take them with breakfast, since it's usually pure SF anyway.

do not take probiotics and enzymes at the same time, the enzymes will destroy the probiotics, take the probio when you first get up then about 20-30 min later take the enzyme and breakfast.

The Bio-K says to take it after breakfast. I've been taking a Digestive Enzyme before breakfast and the Bio-K after. Does this mean I have waisted over a month of Bio-K?  If so, what a huge waste of money!

wouldn't the digestive enzyme help absorb and digest more of the enzymes?

My ex-boyfriend studied nutrition... in his classes, he said that everyone took digestive enzymes at different times.. and that all teachers say something different as well. Some say take at the beginning of a meal, others say in the middle, and still others say at the end. Also, some people say digestive enzymes don't work at all, as our body breaks them down before they even start working or something like that... so they are controversial!
