What kind of sprouted bread do you eat? I didn't think you thought the Ezekiel bread was too good for our tummies. That's the only brand I can think of!

Do you choose brown rice? And your unpeeled fruits, right?

I eat Vegan quite a bit, but not 100%. Bio-K has been amazing for my IBS! Pretty much instant results with the dairy-free bottles. It's pricey in the states (~$4/bottle), so it's not a long term thing. Try it for awhile, then switch to a less expensive probiotic.

My sister made my brother in-law go vegan a few years ago. Since then his colitis is much better, his liver enzymes are back to normal, his cholesterol and BP are great.

As for the protein myth... you can get protein from a potato. Check out this link, there is also a small section on gaining weight. Just use what you know of EFI as a guide.
