Hi,
I was reading about this product-- Dr. Natura colonic Cleansing product--- and wondering if anyone has tried it and if it really works like they claim and if it is harmful at all to IBS sufferers. It has several ingredients like psyllium, flaxseed, and others. Seems like these could cause alot of gas and stuff. Just wanted to hear people's thoughts and feedback. Thank you.

No, cleanses of any kind are not good for people with IBS. It does more harm than good. There's a poster here who used Dr. Natura's cleans and has been suffering since.

i did the dr natura cleanse with my mom after she had surgery for a diverticulitis attack, her forst ever. i felt a bit odd on it, but the fibre supplement made me basically regular for the first time in years, yes i had gas and stuff, but i was finally going daily instead of the not going for 3 days then D.
i later switched to fibresmart and had less gas, then acacia and finally got rid of the gas. but if you are C the doctore natura did help me, between the fibre and the tea that you drink at night to help move things along. my mom still takes the fibre daily and she has ibs, a fairly mild case only when she eats burgers or too much cheese. So it is up to you to give it a try, my experience was good and so was hers.
