I just bought this at the health food store and it is yummy. I hope it's not b/c I haven't had chocolate in months--but I thought I might post it. It's a vegan pudding and it's organic. It is made with certified organic cocoa--if anyone knows any reason why that's not safe please educate me. So far I know dairy free cocoa powder is safe, so I thought this was safe as well. Anyway, check it out in your local health food store if you like chocolate pudding and miss it....and if I'm right about it being safe.

If I remember correctly, it looked pretty safe to me but I just don't like the taste of it.

Hi there--thanks for confirming that it is safe...I thought so but since I'm new to this I just have to make sure. I actually like the taste, but like I said it has been so long since I have tried chocolate.

Cool, good to know. I miss chocolate.....even fake substitues will do for those difficult days when I feel like cramming a whole candy bar in my mouth!!

I agree, this pudding is really good! I like to crunch up some Enviro Kidz Vanilla Animal Cookies and mix them into the pudding, the vanilla cookies with the chocolate pudding are delicious.

On a related chocolate note, I found some dairy-free, soy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips at Whole Foods the other day. They are made by a company called Enjoy Life, which makes a lot of gluten-free, dairy-free, etc stuff.
These taste good by themselves, and I bet they would be great in cooking too.
