Hi, Does anyone have some suggestions for vegetarian protein snacks - usually I have been having applesauce with a glass of soymil, applesauce with sunflower seeds, - I need some variation and am not having much success - any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks.

I know this is creepy, but I LOVE soup for a snack (i.e. split pea or black bean or whatever!!!).

I like soup too. How about cereal with the soy milk, crackers and cheese, nut butter sandwich or on fruit. There are energy bars.

Me too... I love the McDougall RightFoods cups. They can serve as either a meal or a snack, depending on how you're feeling on a given day.

My son is a vegan and he eats Clif Bars....2 bars a day along with his regular meal. They taste great too.

cliff bars while good stil have a bunch of sugar and health food versions of junk in them, 2 a day is a bit much, i would say one a day is fine, but you want protein from food not isolated soy protein and crisps with chocolate etc.

I posted a question about this not too long ago. I've started making either bean dip or hummus on the weekends to eat as snacks during the week with baked corn chips. Heather's black bean dip is yummy, as is Shell's artichoke hummus!
