Hello, I have been blending about 4 small frozen strawberries in some soymilk to have for a protein drink. Does anyone know if frozen strawberries when blended are IBS friendly? Thanks - IBS-C

Yep I do that all the time. I usually let mine thaw out a bit just to not make the drink so cold. Sometimes cold drinks can affect the stomach. Blended berries are a great way to get more vitamins, and make smoothies more flavorful.
Enjoy!

Thanks - I guess I wondered about the few little teeny tiny seeds that seem to be on the strawberries even in a pureed drink - does that mean rasp. are ibs friendly?

Never had a problem with frozen berries of any kind. Blended in smoothies that is. Blue berries are really yum in a smoothie & good source of vitamins. Straberry seeds have never been a problem for me

I do the same thing: smoothie every morning with various kinds of berries. They don't bother me at all! I pour mine into a plastic cup and then microwave it for awhile so it's not so cold!

Berries are IF, but having a small amount with a lot of SF makes it a safe snack/meal all together. Blending them makes them more tolerable too, since they're already mushed up and easier to digest. I can usually have up to 1/2 cup of berries blended in to a cup of soy milk/acacia/banana.
