Noisy stomach gas - help!

My nightmare has been the loud gurgles, growls and bubble popping noises that emanates from my stomach right after eating an IBS sanctioned lunch. It can last for hours. What can I do to make it stop? Please!! I work in a quiet office, so this is embarrasing for me. I currently take 4-6 grams of Citrucel daily to help with constipation. I drink plenty of water. This occurs even when I eat Cream of Wheat and dry white french bread toasted for breakfast and Oatmeal or white rice for lunch. I just ordered Cacacia and Fennel Tea hoping that it will help elimate this problem. Please, I really need advice from someone that has suffered from this same problem and beat it. I can live with the other symptoms of IBS. It's this vocal or publicized symptom that is my worst nightmare. Thank you in advance for your help.

This is something that happens to me sometimes. I'm a college student, so it's really embarrassing when it happens in a quiet classroom. It especially loves to act up in speech class when someone is giving a speech!
I haven't really figured out how to beat it, but I think one thing that everyone with this problems needs to do is just not worry about it! I know it's embarassing, trust me, but you just have to put it in perspective. The absolute WORST thing that could happen is that someone could simply hear your stomach gurgling. So what? Although IBSers certainly have more persistant and loud stomach noises, it isn't like others have never had their stomaches make a noise. If anyone says anything to you about it, just laugh it off. "Oh, I guess I didn't eat enough this morning!" We folks with IBS have much worse things to worry about than stomach noises, so we could all stand to just forget about them and have one less thing to worry about!

renew life digest more ultra are good, digest gold by enzymedica are also very good start with one cap with each meal and go from there.
