Pain after going to the bathroom

I have a question. I don't know if I am IBS-C or IBS-D, because I don't seem to have either one predominently, mostly I just have pain. Mostly, I just have pain associated with bloating and gas. However, many times when I am nervous and have to go to the bathroom, I still have pain after I pass the stool. I have had several diagnostic tests that have ruled out a bowel obstruction, so I don't know exactly what the problem is. Has any one else had this? Any suggestions?

I also have pain during and after going to the bathroom..I have had IBS for over 16 years,plus allergies to MSG,sulphites,lactose and nitrites.I suffer from migraines which also triggers IBS. For the pain I have used hot baths ,hot water bottles and Advil. Digestive enzymes have also helped once I can eat again.
