Do you have severe, chronic constipation? Does this work for you? How much do you recommend taking per day and per dose? Thanks, J!

LOL -- I am glad someone else also treasures their pooping times -- and can empathize with another in a pooping "slump." Do traveling, menstruation, stress, sleep deprivation, and general schedule changes affect your pooping?

Hope you are flowing!

P.S. Did you know that bananas are constipating? This upsets me, cause they are yum-O!

I takes Colace three days to draw water into the stool... thus making the poop easier to pass. I usually take milk of magnesia, because it is cheap, doesn the same thing, and only takes 30 min to 6 hours, and ALWAYS works overnight. It is also non-habit forming, natural, and gentle -- though it shouldn't be taken on a regular basis! Taking any laxative on a regular basis decreases your GI tract/colon's ability to function. Well, hope this helps you fishnets. And let me know if the tea and probiotics (not taken at the same time, of course)help you...

Yes, all of the above! It's very aggravating. I don't know how I'm ever going to stay regular when I get a teaching job. I can just imagine me saying, "Excuse me for a minute, kids, it's my pooping time..."

I had heard that bananas are contipating, but I didn't know if it was true. They're one of my favorite fruits, too! I don't plan to stop eating them.

ha ha ha, kree. i think that's hilarious! teach kindergarten, and plan nap time around pooping time! just kidding! anyway, bananas make me feel really good, too. say it ain't so! I thought that was an old myth, due to the fact that they help with diarrhea. But they're soluble, so they help both D and C, right?

i actually laughed out loud while reading your post! Thanks for making me smile and chuckle!

Just drink a lot of h20 w/ your nanners, and it will probably do the trick...

Good luck w/ explaining to the kiddos about your pooping window. I can see it now...

Mom: "What did you learn today in Ms. Kree's class."
Kiddo: "Today her pooping window was wider than usual. So we got to color!"
