Thanks, Shanna. That's what I figure, too. My body's just not been ready for ANY food lately, fiber or no, soluble or no. But I'm gradually introducing my body to the good stuff. Already, I've been feeling less bloated and feeling better (AND I pooped today, hee hee - i feel like i deserve a prize or something, ha ha, just for pooping - we are truly a unique group of people ). And guess what!? I figured it out. I didn't realize I was premenstrual until today! Maybe the premenstrual cramps were thwarting all my good efforts? Lithelady, how are you feeling? I hope you're feeling better.

Yesterday I made my own hot chocolate(dairy free), and halfway through drinking it I HAD to get to the bathroom! I wonder if it was because it was a hot drink or if it's the things I put in it? Hmmm. When I have tea I don't react like that though. Maybe I should have hot cocoa everyday!
Anyway, having more trouble going lately Not sure if it's cause my stool softeners are not working for me anymore or if I'm doing something wrong...I try to get as much insoluble fiber as I can, but doesn't seem to be helping! And of course not being able to do is making me bloated, uff!

Shanna, When is it ok for you to eat dried fruits? Do you just add them to something that you are already eating that is soluble fiber? I thought I would try dried prunes for helping relieve constipation but I'm not quite sure how to go about this. Worried about gas, distention and stuff.

Cristy, I happen to know Shanna is in Spain on studies so it is likely hard for her to get to the boards. Why don't you make the dried fruit question a seperate post and see what answers you get.

Well since I've had kids it seems all I talk about is poo....it's either theirs or mine...so what the hey. I have to say though I would pay a high price for the priviledge of going regularly and painlessly!!!! I must be doing something wrong with this diet.....

Well hun, try more greens, molasses will get you flowing too if ever but you may get very crampy which is not fun but of course you must know that... fiber will help also, sounds funny it helps when constipated and when going too much... hope this help

i'm so backed up my stomache feels full like i ate a big meal. Do you ever feel like a piece of crap when you can't crap? You feel like a gross person and you emagine how many pounds are in you and how it affects your weight,lol.
