Is the IBS diet in the "Eating for IBS" book? I would like to try it, as I have been having a flare up this past week and can not get it under control.
If not where can I find information about it. I have read people trying it, but not sure what it is.

I haven't read the Eating for IBS book, but the diet is covered in the IBS - The First Year book.

Since you've read the IBS:The First Year Book, can you tell me if it's necessary to read? I read the Eating for IBS book and lots of stuff on this website. Is there other important information?

I haven't read the Eating for IBS book, so I can't say if you should read it. IBS- The First Year does have a lot of information though. I don't think Eating for IBS would regurgitate all of it.

I have both books. The first year book explains IBS and the diet more so than the EFI book, in my opinion.
You can much info on link to the left that says IBS diet and recipes.
