I have only been taking Fibercon about 3 days now (one in the morning and one at night...I figured I'd start slow)...and I've been having that uneasy feeling pretty much all day that an attack could come on, but then it passes. I have been having BMs... a little loose and never feeling like I'm completely done, yet I'm not having spasms and pain like with my usual bad day IBS-D. Is this normal when you first start out? Actually, today when I felt uneasy, I took another Fibercon (huge risk I felt since I had to go out!) but you guys all say that SF helps so I actually took three today. The uneasiness eventually went away but since I have lots of anxiety already, I hate feeling like I might go all day. (Usually on a good day, I feel like I'm evacuated...before the Fibercon)...also should I increase now with the Fibercon since it's been a few days without an attack or stay the same? And then do you find that it's best to take more SF before bed or more SF upon waking since my mornings are the worst times? I'm always afraid that whatever I take in the morning won't have enough time to "kick in" before I need to leave the house (ie..immodium...always need to wait hours before I can go out safely). Is this true of SF supplements or do they work right away to absorb the extra water? I wouldn't mind needing to use the restroom for a BM if I knew that I could hold it and it wouldn't be so urgent that I would have an "accident." Feeling hopeful...but still need to learn lots!!! Thanks:) Linda IBS-D/A
