I have had a bad couple of days. Nausea, sweats and stomach hurting. But, my question is does anyone else who has IBS-C ever have a "heavy" feeling. I just feel the crap inside and it is not coming out. So, I have this feeling of my lower half of my body is weighing down. Is this strange? Are IBS-C triggers the same as IBS-D triggers?????

yeah i have ibsA but when i get constatpated it really feels like my guts are full of cr*p and it doesn't feel better until its out. I try to do a little gentle exercise like walking even if its around the house, i eat very light food that isn't hard to digest like cereal or soup and wait it out. Hope this was helpfull hang in therexx

Whenever nothing comes out, I can feel heavy in the stomach area. To help "get going", I eat warm oatmeal with a little extra water added. It sometimes helps.

I know exactly how you feel... I used to think that the fat way I felt on the inside was simply b/c I was too fat on the outside (I wasn't). I just never knew what a normal tummy felt like, so I always thought I was fat &had to lose weight b/c I was so heavy & bloated inside.

I'm still not formally diagnosed, but I have to say that feeling is my primary "symptom". Even when I am not constipated. If I eat badly, and especially during my period, I feel like I have lead in my hips.
