I may be in the minority here but I don't like Luna bars. Maybe I just haven't found the right flavor yet. These sound really good though.

I picked up the strawberry one a couple of weeks ago. Still haven't tried it, though. It looks safe from the ingredients list. I'll report back when it's been eaten.

I love the S'mores Luna bars (I hope these are safe).

I LOVE the caramel nut brownie one! I tried chai tea the other day but didn't like it is much. Lemon zest and dulche de leche are also very good.
Does anyone like Clif bars? They're a bit higher in cals (250 per bar vs. 180 for Luna) but they are higher in fiber (4g/bar). My favorite one is the chocolate chip mint flavor! I think they might be better for IBSers because of the fiber (I believe it's insoluble fiber but aren't 100 positive).

I've never seen any Luna bars at the HFS here. And I entered the nearest zip code to us (US border is 35 min. away only) and they have no retailer in that area either. I have a floss mom, I need a Luna Bar mom now! (a floss mom is someone who buys my embrodery supplies for me where she lives and ships them to me - I send her the money for supplies and postage)
Then I could tuck one in my bra as Atomic Rose suggested while I'm on my motorcycle! Living in small town does suck sometimes!!

It was adequate. I was not impressed, but strawberries & cream flavored things hardly every taste like the real thing to me. Anyway, I don't think I'll be buying it again.

I feel your pain! I thought Ottawa would have some decent selection but I haven't found much at health food stores. I found 3 flavors of Luna bars at Mountain Equipment Coop costing $1.70 per bar (you could also order them online at www.mec.ca). I didn't like any of these so I've been ordering my peppermint chocolate luna bars from www.drugstore.com one of the few websites who will mail to Canada. It ends up costing about 2$ per bar.

Let me know if you ever find a good way to get luna bars into Canada.

Hi Cassandra,

Do you have a great Canadian Superstore close to where you live at all? It's a really huge grocery store and that's the only place I've ever seen them in Ontario.

Not really impressed... kinda tasted like a blueberry muffin, but it was just too sweet for MY taste.... I only ate about two thirds of it....

i saw them and kept calling them "luna surprise" to my friend before she corrected me and we laughed for 10 minutes! have not tried the vanilla--but the other 2 were tasty-great. i like that they're almost full-organic. i usually try to keep all organic but for these i will make an exception! have not seen them at any other stores minus whole foods. 99 cents there though..everyone should stock up! hehe

Hmmm, I'll have to double check them!! I work literally in the Superstore's back-yard! My office is about 300 ft. away from them! I never looked there! I tried almost every other grocer and hfs. Hmm, makes sense - they do carry lots of non-dairy stuff and soy products. I'll pop in after work tomorrow.
Thanks!

Mmmmmm! How do I love Luna Bars. They sell them at a walmart 10 mins away from my house at a mere 96 cents a piece. My favorites are the LemonZest and Chocolate Peppermint stick ones. I cant wait to try the newer flavors. Luna bars never upset my stomach and they are so full of nutrition

Okay, so it wasn't a huge surprise, the store only carries Nutz over Chocolate, but I bought 3 for $5. They are usually $2 each according to the price. I'm stuffed now from dinner but I threw one in my lunch bag for tomorrow at work.

Trader Joes has a great selection of Luna Bars for a great price. By the way, I can't find Tostitos baked corn chips in SOcal! Has anyone seen them?
