Hi Abi,

Very glad to hear that your mum is with you at the moment.

Wishing you all the luck in the world for the colonoscopy next week ~ and hopefully some pain relief soon.

I'm about to start a course of supplements which I'm not looking forward to as I always react badly. Am going back for acupuncture, but can't get an appointment until the end of the month ~ feels like a long wait right now. Not good in myself at the moment.

BUT sending you the bestest of good wishes, and lots of healing colours...........

Joanna

Hello Joanna,

I hope you are feeling better and that everything is going well after starting the new supplements. I'm sending healthy thoughts your way always!!!

I can't wait to get the colonoscopy over with and hopefully get some pain relief. My GI doc will not do anything until after the colonoscopy. I been having to take MOM every couple days to try to find some pain relief, but it's also a struggle.

I'm going to have to cancel my acup again. The appt. was for Wed, but that's the colonoscopy day. Going to church tonight, I missed it last Wed and was very sad about it:-(

A big hug and lots of love always !
Blessings,
Abi

Hi Abie,

I've just been reading your latest posts about MOM and 32 pills to take. Also thanks for your post to me hoping supplements are going OK.

I don't know why you should be having such a problem trying to lose water from MOM. I presume you mean Milk of Magnesia? I used it once and it was just a thick creamy white liquid with hardly any water in it. I added water to it, but it wasn't much.

The morning after I'd taken it I felt very hungover and yet that cleared once I'd had a BM.

I can see that you're really worried about taking the pills for the colonoscopy. I guess it's one of those things where you have to "feel the fear and do it anyway". It may not be as bad as you dread. From what others have said it's better than taking the liquid.

The main focus in all of this (I think), is to remember that the colonoscopy is to help find out what may be the cause of all your pain and problems. The pills are a horrible part of the process ~ but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end.

As for the acupuncture ~ one thing at the time ~ you need to get this diagnosis proceedure out of the way and take it from there.

Good luck Abie ~ with the pills and the colonoscopy itself. Have courage, and take strength from your faith and the fact that you are well loved. This is a passing phase and will not last for ever ~ the big picture is bigger than this moment!

With much love and warm hugs for you,

Joanna
