Probiotics and the pill

Hi, I'm new to the boards but not new to Heathers diet. I was wondering if probiotics would effect the birth control pill. It doesn't seem they would, but I thought I'd ask. I'm thinking of takeing Acidophilus. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

EEK! I sure hope not! I've been taking Culturelle (probiotic) and have been on the pill for forever and....no kids yet!

I actually just started probiotics and called my pharmacist, and nope they don't interfere with birth control pills.
