Yes I know that is good in a way, but I thought for sure this could be thyroid. 2.freakin 0. Right smack where it should be. Not even close to off. I call the GI he referred me to on Monday. But there are now other things bugging me I don't understand. My cheeks feel funky on and off (the ones on my face. My hips hurt. Stuff that you guys never talk about. And I don't get the excruciating pain that you do talk about. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! Mostly, I just feel like crap 50% of the time to varying degrees. Ugh.

Hi,

Poor you, there's nothing worse than getting blood test results that say there's nothing wrong when you KNOW there's something wrong and you're desperate to find the reason for what it is!

There are many things that blood tests won't show as being abnormal, but you can still be unwell.

Have you had any allergy tests done? This could explain some of the symptoms you mention in this mail. The puffiness etc.... Even a small allergy can play havoc. Sorry if this ground has already been covered ~ I haven't followed the thread.

What about a holistic treatment like acupuncture to treat all your symptoms?

Good luck, and hope you find ways to feel better soon!

Joanna

y'know I've never been TESTED for allergies. I have some skin thing that 20% of people have where you get itchy skin (like "prehives") but not hives. The allergist diagnosed this just off of, basically having me scratch myself and see if I welted up, which I did. No other tests. But over the last few years, I've become increasingly sensative to jewelry and eye make up. So, I don't do those anymore. Zyrtec takes care of my itchiness when it happens. At first I had to take it twice a day. Now, maybe 2 or 3 times a week at most. I'm beginning to think my hand thing is from my neck and shoulders being tense. Bought some temprapedic pillows today, to see if that would help from kinking up at night. I have to say, it really is lookingmore and more like milder IBS. We'll see. Yeah, I was a bit frustrated, but then again, I guess it is looking less "scary" for the bad things, eh? I don't know why my cheeks feel odd, but maybe it is just stress. Stress does wiiiiieeeerd things. I'm a bit calmer today
