First of all, I think you are the bravest person in the world to be planning to undergo these tests. Secondly, we all make mistakes. It's just such a shame that you now have to have these tests weighing on your mind for several weeks longer and that you have to undergo all of the miserable preparation again.
My heart goes out to you.

Thanks everyone - just reading all your posts made me feel a whole lot better.
I took Friday off of work and had a nice morning sleeping in. Went and got my hair cut, and went out to lunch with a couple friends which helped get my mind off of it.
Still waiting to see when it is rescheduled.  I am definitely not waiting until January. Want to get it all over and done with before the end of the year.

Hi Angylroses,
Go ahead and cry. It's not good to bottle your feelings, and I'd be upset too. Having any test done is stressfull, and it doesn't help when you end up needing to reshceduel and the Dr's are'nt available.
I hope your feeling better, and I hope your boss is more understanding than you fear. She needs to know that IBS is not minor, its major and it effects a persons entire life.

That's awful!
When I had my colonoscopy I threw up the prep. meds. The doctors told me I might have to fast a second day to have the testing done... I'm just glad you didn't do the prep and THEN realize you had taken the motrin and couldn't get the testing done!!!!!!!!
But I'm really sorry it worked out that way for you. I hope you went out and treated yourself to something...you deserve it!
