I posted a couple days ago about probiotics that you don't have to refrigerate....well I started taking Primal Defense Wednesday night and now I seem to be sliding backwards. I was talking Jarrow, which you need to keep in the refrigerator. Does any one know if it just takes a couple days to get used to the new probiotic or should I stick with the Jarrow. I really want to find one that I can travel with!! Any suggestions?

2 a day...one in the morning and one at night. With the Jarrow that seemed to work and I was stable for a while. Since I started the Primal Defense one in the morning and one at night I am not stable anymore. Should I take more?

Hello
I think I read a message from you about anxiety and IBS, I have a problem with both and have not done much about the problem. Would like to talk to someone with the problem.

The maintenace dose of Primal Defense is 3 a day. You might want to try 3, then maybe gradually go up to 4 and see how it goes.

If you're having problems with anxiety, I would strongly suggest trying the hypnosis for IBS cd's by michael Mahoney. They are sold on this site and many people have benefited from them.

...it does not have to be refridgerated. Read the website! Jarrow Probiotic
Specifically, it says "Jarro-Dophilus EPS™ is a Stable-Dophilus™ enhanced probiotic system. Jarro-Dophilus EPS™ is stable at room temperature and enteric coated".

I would just take this one with you on your trips.

I will have to look for the Jarro-Dophilus EPS. I have the Jarrow-Dophlius + FOS which needs to stay in the refrigerator.

I have also started to take the Primal Defense more often and seem to be doing better now. But I would like to stick with Jarrow since you can take less times a day.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!!

I started this product (dosen't need refridgeration).

Pearls by Enzmatic (www.enzy.com/pearls). I found the Pearls product in a local Natural Food store and have been using for about a week with good results.

it was recommended by my GI doc, no refrigeration necessary. You can find it at Walgreens if you have those or you can order it off their website.
