Sugar and IBS

Sorry if this has been asked before but is there anyone else who thinks that their IBS is triggered by their sugar intake (and by that I mean refined white sugar)?

Sucose and glucose do not bother be at all. Fructose, however, does.

its something to do with the way and how it's processed. in addition to processed sugars..artifical sugars are also a big trigger and generally bad for your long-term health. stay away from high-fructose corn syrup, sweet-n-low, equal splenda or any other fake sugars if youre trying to rule out trigger-foods. your triggers should greatly reduce. good luck!

I think it's a trigger for me. It could be bacteria related since sugar is one of the main food sources for bacteria which many people with IBS have.
